In today’s episode of Birthing the New I’m sharing a story I haven’t fully told before. It’s about a season in my business where the offers were good, the marketing was solid, and nothing was landing. Again and again and again. And what I finally had to reckon with when I picked up the mirror.
Money is always in the conversation in my world — inside my containers, inside client sessions, inside the quiet moments where women finally say the thing they’ve been afraid to say out loud.
And it makes sense, right? Because money is so loaded. We grow up hearing “Money doesn’t grow on trees. Money is the root of all evil. You can’t want that kind of money.” The old paradigm has a lot to say.
But at the core money is a tool. Money is energy exchange. Money is currency. And you want it — not because you’re greedy, not because you’re selfish, not because you’re too much — but because there are big things you want to do. For the world. For your family. For yourself. Money is how we take care of those things.
So why does it still feel like you can’t hold more of it?
The thing that blocks us from receiving and holding more money isn’t a strategy problem. It’s not that you need a better funnel or a more organized launch plan or one more course on how to sell.
It’s a conflicting desire. Living in your body.
You say yes, I want more — and somewhere deep down, something in you says but...
I know this because it happened to me. Again. Even after 10, 11 years in business. Even while teaching this exact work.
