Taking transitions slowly
a reminder from the seasons
Happy Monday! Happy New Moon in Virgo! Happy... Fall? Sort of but not quite, and this liminal space between seasons is actually what inspired today's message.
While I'm sure many folks are taking today off, I'm back online and truly excited to re-enter my regular work routine after a month away and coasting thru much of summer.
I'm looking forward to more structure, more space for creating and building and connecting with my clients and my community... there is a lot that I've been simmering on this summer, and it finally feels time to take big action, to birth these new offerings out into the world.
Maybe you too have been coasting and working less this summer, maybe you too are excited for a shift in energy we're feeling, maybe you too have some big things you are working on behind the scenes that are starting to be ready to share with the world...
I see you friend. I'm excited for you, for the magic that you are creating. The world needs it, the world needs your medicine, especially now.
And I wanted to share a really important reminder I received this AM as I was setting off to the coffee shop to get sh*t done...
It's okay to go slow.
It's okay for today (and for this week) to *just* be about landing in a new routine and rhythm.
You don't have to get everything done today (or even this week).
You're not behind and you don't have to make up for lost time.
The summer-to-fall transition can be exciting yes, and it's also really easy to crash and burn if we don't let our selves slowly adjust.
Time and time again I've seen, and especially as a mother, when I allow myself extra space, when I allow myself to go slower, what results from that energy is more impactful, more sustainable, more abundant.
The seasons don't change overnight, so why do we expect ourselves to?
Let this be your nudge to take it a little slower this week, to give yourself a lot of grace as you (and perhaps your family) adjust to a new routine and know there is plenty of time for what's important when you approach life and your schedule from this more regulated, abundant place.
As always, I love to hear how these messages resonate for you. Leave a comment below and let me know.
