What will the “New Paradigm” Look Like? The Stars Give Us a Clue
Breaking down the Astrology of 2026
Last week I was listening to a podcast and I literally rolled my eyes as the host and her guest talked on and on about “The New Paradigm” getting closer and closer.
Saying this is why we highly sensitive beings feel even more sensitive.
This is why the headlines are getting crazier.
This is why… blah blah blah.
Look - I’ve used those terms “New Paradigm” too. Over and over again.
So it’s not the “New Paradigm” herself I have beef with.
But it is the way so many New Age girlies and Embodied Business Queens are pointing to the “New Paradigm” without any concrete support as to what this is and how we can meet it appropriately.
This is where discussion here will be different.
I already walked you through why Business As Usual Isn’t Working Anymore
I introduced you to the Fourth Turning framework and how this explains the mega shift we’re in as a society.
In this post, I’ll share the rare and monumental astrological transits unfolding across 2026 and beyond — and how they confirm, deepen, and get a specific flavor the turning we are in, the New Paradigm we are birthing into.
And (in alignment with a recommendation I’ll be making in part three of this series) I won’t just be feeding you more information to fuel the overwhelm so many of us are feeling right now: I’ll be telling you exactly how to bring your business and leadership into the New Paradigm.
But first, we’re going to dive into the astrology, because my friends this gives us so many good clues as to how we need to move differently now and in the next several decades.
Outer Planets = Societal Shifts
Let’s start here: In astrology the different planets speak to different aspects of the self and society.
The personal planets — Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars — move quickly. The Moon changes signs every few days, the Sun every month.
While the personal planets’ movements do impact us collectively, they speak to shorter seasons (a Mercury Retrograde for example), and flavor a period of a few weeks or few months.
The outer planets and points — Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, the North Node & Chiron — move much more slowly. Jupiter spends about a year in each sign, and Neptune about 14 years, for example.
The outer planets’ placements are the ones that shape generations, eras, and civilization patterns.
When the outer planets change signs, especially when multiple ones do so around the same time, it signals a collective shift. A new societal tone. A rewriting of the rules of reality.
And that’s exactly what’s happening right now.
What’s Happening Right Now is Rare and Revolutionary
By mid 2027, every single outer planet will have changed signs.
Some of these shifts started in the end of 2024 and into 2025, but the height of the change happens this year, specifically:
Neptune re-enters Aries (January 2026-March 2039)
Saturn re-enters Aries (February 2026 - April 2028)
The North Node enters Aquarius (first eclipse February 2026)
Uranus re-enters Gemini (April 2026 - May 2033)
Jupiter enters Leo (June 2026-June 2027)
Chiron enters Taurus (June 2026-July 2033)
Pluto is also relatively “newly” in Aquarius (November 2024 - January 2044). Yes it’s been over a year, but since this planet will stay in this sign for nearly 20 years the energy is still just getting started.
Any one of these transits we’d feel. But this is not just one big shift. It’s a symphony. A complete reorganization of the fabric of our society.
In addition, two of these big shifts this year (Saturn & Neptune) are happening from Pisces to Aries, the final sign to the first in the zodiac. I personally always feel Pisces to Aries transitions are huge because it’s not just a changing of signs, but a starting of a whole new cycle (similar to the Winter to Spring transition in the Fourth Turning framework).
A Brief Look at the Transits
So what do these shifts mean exactly? What can they tell us about the New Paradigm? We’ll take a closer look at the specific major transits for clues.
If reading astrology details makes your head spin, hold on, I am going to digest all of this for you and give specific, actionable recommendations in part three of the series.
This section is for my fellow astro lovers who similarly find peace and reassurance in the language astrology gives us to describe what we’re feeling happening.
Neptune in Aries
(Entered January 26, 2026 — stays until March 2039)
Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011. Over the last decade plus, we’ve seen a collective rise in the mystical and magical: astrology, plant medicine, spiritual escapism, collective dreaming, social media. Pisces is about imagination, infinity, oneness. And Neptune rules Pisces meaning this sign is at home, comfortable, there.
So much of what we’ve been swimming in has been unseen, intuitive, liminal. We’ve been dreaming of the new world… but now we wake up.
With Neptune entering Aries — the sign of action, embodiment, and self-initiation — we move from fantasy to reality. The visions we’ve been carrying? They’re ready to be built.
This is a massive energetic pivot.
It might feel like a bit of a cold splash at first, like waking up from a beautiful dream and realizing: Oh, I still have to build this.
But we must remember: it’s not that the dream is dead — it’s that it wants to live in real life now.
Saturn in Aries
(Entered February 13, 2026 — stays until April 2028)
Saturn is the teacher. The elder. The cosmic taskmaster that brings form, focus, and maturity. Wherever Saturn moves, we’re asked to do the work (see also: the Saturn Return).
And with Saturn entering Aries we are going to feel the rub of having big desire & drive with limited skill.
This energy reminds me of teaching my toddler how to cook eggs. It’s messy. It’s slow. Sometimes our breakfast has way too much pepper.
But it’s revolutionary, for him, and by association, for our whole family.
Expect the next few years to feel like that:
Slower progress, but seeing real traction.
Simpler work, but deeply foundational.
Actions that build vs burn out.
There will be challenges as Saturn always brings tests, but this isn’t the Saturn-in-Pisces fog of spinning your wheels.
This is productive pressure. We’re being asked to refine our fire.
North Node Shifts to Aquarius
(First eclipse in Aquarius on February 17, 2026)
If you’ve been in my world for a while, you’ve heard me talk about the North Node.
The North Node is like a compass point - It speaks to our collective lesson, our path of growth, what we came here to evolve. And while it affects us personally in our birth charts, it also shapes what we’re all moving toward as a society.
This year the North Node shifts into Aquarius (and the South Node into Leo).
This is about stepping away from performative leadership and stepping into collaborative change-making.
We’re releasing guru culture, empire and style over substance. Now is when we ask on a deeper level: How is what I’m creating benefiting the whole?
Eclipses on the nodes always accelerate change — so if February and March feel like a particularly intense portal, it is. This is the start of a new lesson cycle, and if you’re paying attention, it will show you exactly what you’re being asked to embody now.
Uranus in Gemini
(Begins April 25, 2026 — through May 2033)
Uranus is the planet of disruption, innovation, and change — often sudden, often surprising. It’s the spark that shakes things loose, and then says, “Now what are you going to do with this freedom?”
Since 2018, Uranus has been in Taurus, shaking up our relationship to money, land, food systems, and physical resources. Think crypto, gamification economy, and supply chain chaos — all classic Uranus-in-Taurus themes.
Now, Uranus enters Gemini — and the disruption moves into the realm of information, media, communication, education and community.
Expect major shifts in how we consume and trust information (hellloooo seeing that already!).
This will be a time of mental over-stimulation and also brilliant innovation. The challenge, especially as a leader, will be balancing staying grounded in your truth while also remaining open-minded to the new.
In addition Gemini connects us with our local communities. I’ll speak more about this in part three but I anticipate (and am already feeling) a shift towards more local networks, commerce and community (versus the global online community and businesses so many of us have created).
So What Does This Mean?
As I promised, I share this intel not to add to the noise, but to help you cut through it.
We are going through a massive shift on a societal level.
What worked before is not guaranteed to work going forward.
We can no longer look to external authority figures for the answers.
While we don’t know what’s on the other side of all of this change, the astrology paired with the Fourth Turning framework does give us really specific and clear advice as to where to focus our time, money and precious energy.
And that is exactly what I will be digesting for you in part three of this series.
